Mitchell Brown, PhD, is Professor of Political Science at Auburn University. She co-directs the Institute for Election Administration Research & Practice, a project of the Election Center (National Association of Election Officials) with Kathleen Hale. She has published numerous books and articles on election administration, including the 2020 book, How We Vote: Innovation in American Elections (Georgetown), also with Kathleen Hale.
