Roundtable on Philanthropy and Elections

In this roundtable, moderated by Dr. Mitchell Brown (Auburn University), we will hear from North Carolina Election Director Karen Brinson Bell about North Carolina’s decision to accept philanthropy for use in the 2020 election. What did North Carolina use these funds for? Dr. Christian Grose, Academic Director of the Schwarzenegger Center (University of Southern California) will discuss his Center’s distribution of grants and his research on philanthropic giving for elections. Audience members will have the opportunity to write down their questions for Dr. Mitchell to ask the roundtable members.
